Potential Motor Mount Issues. I've got a 2010 Mazda 3 2.5 6 speed with 75k on it. About a year ago I started getting a squeaking noise from the engine bay, always under clutch engagement/disengagement, or other situations where the engine mounts are under stress. Well two days in a row now while making a low speed turn (less than 10mph) the power steering quit working. The first time it recovered after the turn was completed. The second time was today while making a "U" turn today. Always stays on the full line. Also the majority of manufacturers consider one quart of oil burn between oil changes to be acceptable. The nice thing about the Mazda 3 if the oil level gets low it will warn you before any issues. But as others said you should be checking you level on any car between oil changes. Akgn.
